Thermal Design & Boiler Problem Solving

Design management of new mechanical services and associated plant during a number of upgrade projects.
This included the steam interface for the Cogeneration plant and design of ammonia pipework associated with the installation of a 20MW(R) ammonia refrigeration plant, both installed in the 1990s.
Whareroa Co-generation project, Hawera
Installed at the Kiwi Dairies (now Fonterra) plant, Hawera. Review of the integrity and performance of the boilers installed by RR John Thompson. This review led to a number of significant improvements to the boilers. This was undertaken in association with Parsons Boiler and Thermal Design Consultants, Sydney.
